Each city in this Widget has precisely calculated sunrise/sunset times, and the clock's colors change according to whether it's day or night in the monitored region. We even handle the Daylight Saving Time changes automatically!

DRiXOnline - world wide - not sure if I'm waking someone up, or saying g'nite to them. World Clock helps fix this. I use it with Grandfather Clock to add sounds - and I'm in tune w/the world. Not sure how to interpret the color changes in world clock as they go Blue Red and Yellow then back to normal white backgrounds for some reason I can't determine. But thanx to the author/developer for this great tool that synch's up the world and MEEEeeee!

MerlinUnder normal operation, I am not seeing any disk usage on the Macintosh. I have also checked with a Windows' user who has three clocks running.
If most of the activity you are seeing is reading from the Widget file itself (your ReadFile reference) that is most probably paging activity. That is not under the control of the Widget.

SebastianWhile monitoring my system for excessive resources utilization with Process Monitor, I noticed, that your widget constantly uses disk. And I mean it, constantly- nearly 400k file events, mainly reads, over a relatively short period of time e.g.:
- CreateFile C:\Documents and Settings\*****\Local Settings\Application Data\Yahoo\Widget Engine
- ReadFIle C:\Documents and Settings\*****\My Documents\My Widgets\World Clock Pro.widget
Is this a normal behaviour? I have only two clocks spawned.

Custom Preference Pane
MerlinThe height of the Custom Preference Pane is about 680 pixels. You may be able to use the ENTER or ESCAPE keys to operate the OK or CANCEL buttons. If that does not work for you, there is no immediate solution. If there are places you would like to have in the standard lists, pleas let us know.
