A Widget for controlling Winamp, a popular media player. Uses COM to plug into Winamp, please be advised that it registers a COM object at the first run, DO NOT run on guest accounts for the first time only.
Compatible with Winamp 3 and above, however, for complete functionality Winamp 5 is recommended.

Justin AdrielIn addition to what I said below, I would like to confirm what the other have said about the volume control not working. Although I usually use keyboard shortcuts to control the volume, it would be nice if the volume control on the widget worked. I would've given it 5 stars if it worked.

Solution to widget incompatibility
Justin AdrielI recently wrote that it's not working on my Vista system. Apparently, it works only with Konfabulator 2. However, some other widgets are incompatible with Konfabulator 2. The solution is to install both Konfabulator 2 and Yahoo Widgets 4.5. Afterwards, simply run Yahoo Widgets 4.5 and all the widgets work.

Not recognized by my Vista system
Justin AdrielThis looks like an awesome widget, but whenever I run it, I get the following message:
"Could not open widget... It either isn't a widget or you don't have access to that file. (OpenWidget: Invalid string encoding encountered.)"
I'm running Windows Vista Home Edition 32-bit, Winamp 5.551 and Yahoo Widgets 4.5.2 (build 10A50).
Help please!

Tridip BI m using this widget n din't faced any problem.. this 1 is superb n looks cool.. the volume control is also working perfectly..
just needed some more shades.. Try to Add some more color scheme..
