This Widget allows its user to keep tabs on any image URL put into it. It's ideal for looking at images updated dynamically, such as webcams or traffic cameras. You can check out the Eiffel Tower or Times Square up to the minute if you want!

MerlinDan: You can turn the QuickList Menu off in the Widget Preferences.
Widget Preferences Web Images Location Menu Length: set to zero.

DanThis widget rocks. Nice work. One question... when the image is set to automatically refresh, each time it refreshes the "Quicklist" icon appears again in the upper left corner of the image and doesn't go away until the widget is interacted with again. Is there any way to stop the Quicklist icon from appearing?

peterFor adding the opacity possibility so soon! This widget is real great and work properly.
Use it now with an changing lightning map and a grid to determine exactly where the strikes are. great!!

Streaming Video Not Supported
MerlinAlyis: The Times Square site uses Flash to support streaming video. This type of webcam is not supported by WebImages which was designed to display (static) images (jpegs etc.).
WebImages can hand off tasks to RealPlayer, but that's not a realistic solution in this case.

Alyisi was wondering how to add a location like i wanted times square on myne and the link is http://www.earthcam.com/usa/newyork/timessquare/
and i do not know what to put in on
gaurd string and prefix string and all the other string boxes
can some one please help!!!!
