You can't create new notes from here. They have to exist as a text file first. But you can easily do that within the browse window with Right click - New - Text document. After that, it'll remain loaded until you remove it from the widget.

Unfortunately, it's all in one window. And you can't resize it any wider than the set limit. If it's just notes, for me, I still find doing the "Winkey+r - notepad [enter key]" faster and unrestricted.

Compared to other note wid…gets, though simple, it has nice built-in backgrounds that kinda inspires you to write on it. You can also specify you're own backgrounds too.

It's pretty old too. Just noticed but the last update is 2005. It owes it's popularity on age.

its good, but I cant find a way to restore it once minimized but to return to the yahoo widget area and click it again. Is there a way to restore it clicking on the small minimized bar?

I would really love it if you could create a version that was a book - that is set up a series of 365 pages with the date at the top of each.
Is there a way to create lots of new pages at once instead of one at a time? How about making it look like a real book with a cover and title - one could then create a new little widget book for each project.
