♥Niecy♥Andreas Kreisl, My computer shut off all by itself & when I turned it on there was a message on the screen that said it was because it overheated. I was looking for a widget that could tell me the temperature of the computer & how long the computer has been on. Someone told me to download www.almico.com/SpeedFan, but then I found your widget. How accurate is the TEMPERATURE feature? It always says: 0% Temperature 5 'C. Does that sound about right? Also, I was curious about the Wirel… More

Al@carolinpalestine, I have the same problem when i play a game. So before starting the game i shut down the widgets by right clicking the yahoo widget icon in the task tray and exit. Then when i'm finished playing the game i have a shortcut on my desktop to start the widgets program up and all is fine. This is the best work around i have found to this problem. Just takes a couple of clicks.

April 02, 2009 · version 1.3 Andreas Kreisl@Peter: Hm, that is crazy. Hard to say whats the problem is. I have mine also as autostart but it never hangs. Even with my WLAN which take a bit longer to be active.
@carolinpalestine: Yes, thats a problem how a widget is developed. Y!WE try to save the position of all widgets per resolution, but it didn't works 100% with all Widgets/PCs :-(
E.g. one of my own widgets move down one pixel every startup ... thats really bad.

I love the idea of Yahoo widgets. Some of them are down right useful, but I have one problem with them. Every time my kids open a full screen game and it changes the screen resolution, when it is closed all the widgets are moved over to the top left side of the screen, ***except your sys monitor.*** I wrote Yahoo for help, and they said too bad, it can't be fixed! What ever you are doing, yay, thank you for having the least annoying widget of the bunch. Now if you could please just explain to the Yahoo folks how to make their widgets stay in place, I would be very happy.
