February 10, 2009 · version 1.3 Andreas Kreisl@Dane: Check the drive with some more professional SMART tool (mentioned some posts below).
If they also report only 12°C your drive had a problem or doesn't support temperature.
As long as there are so many different manufacturer there would be compatibility problems.

DaneHi Andreas,
version 2.18 is really a dream to use, like the extensions for SMART monitoring -- strangely enough I the drive temperature is always 12°C no matter what happens. The start count and POH seem to be updating properly.
Any suggestions?

I have used this for a while now and i love it. Extremely adjustable and massive amount of info shown for 1 widget. my only request is that it be a little lighter on system resources (i use laptops alot). but it really does not use that much either. honestly about the only other thing that could be added is a screen refresh but that might be kinda pointless. lol. anyway EXCELLENT widget.
