Hey gang. I'm getting awfully sick of Yahoo! stonewalling me about giving me control of this widget. If I don't get control back in the next month or so I'm going to release a new version under a new name...Radar 2.0? Radar Reborn? Anyway, I'll be sure to make an announcement here. It's been a few years since I've even touched this Widget, so it may take me a little bit to fix it, but if it's just replacing a few deprecated function calls and such, it should be n More

Wow, I just got this widget and it is amazing! I am absolutely fascinated with weather! Though, I live in Canada and as you have mentioned, it was made for US but I like all the features it has for the US, so would you know where I can find a widget with all these features for the whole world? If not the whole world, I need it for Canada. So, if any of you can provide any help, I would be EXTREMELY grateful! So, thanks in advanced!

You're welcome. The author originally wrote the widget for Mac so the Unix utilites are required because he makes several calls to runcommand([cp, rm, diff, curl]) in his code. Those utilities are deprecated though and he should update the Unix commands with the appropriate filesystem.x() and URL.x() function calls. It's simple actually and I'm sure he's already done this....It's a shame that Yahoo has seemingly abondoned the author of one of their more popular widgets.
