Radar

Displays a large vatiery of Doppler radar, visable, and infrared still and animated images from Weather.com. Simply select a nearby city/view (or any 2 cities/views to enter dual-image mode) from the dropdown menus. Supports http proxy connections. Designed for US users, but supports satellite views of the rest of the world. Based on TommyCam by Adam Talcott.

    ok, i do not know or understand how everyone is getting this to work, when all that it shows for me is "MISSING" across the widget no mater how many times I try to download it and use it. Maybe I am the one that is "MISSING" something. Ken, or anyone.... can you please help me figure out what is going wrong and how to make it work???

    I really like and use this. But it won't work correctly if you move your temp folders to another drive like D:\Temp

    Ken if you read this can you please look into this and fix it please? Thx
    It's best for me not to keep my temp on my system drive. Because I am now using a solid state hard drive. And the less writes the better.

    Useful but can be trick with your firewall

    This is a great widget but can sometime be a little tricky to get to work. If you get the dreaded no images screen check your firewall settings for a program called "Curl.exe". This must be allowed to access the internet for this and similar widgets to work. It took me a while to find this out after a fresh install of XP pro.
    I have used this widget for several years and it is great.
