so before u had posted the registry fixes for me to download, i had already scoured thru my entire registry & found a "widget engine" key in a random spot (i cant recall exact details bc it was a while ago, & on my old laptop) but then there was a subkey name "one photo" and then another subkey w/ some wierd name- 'p' something- uhh- cant remember- it was like plib or p1- something like that- so i deleted the whole thing....
i wanted to let you know that the problem i had a little while back (about the error "unknown exception encountered during onload...) was actually fixed- in fact, i had left a comment immediately afterwards to let you know, but i see that it never went through. thank u so much for your help & prompt response though- i wish other widget authors gave half the effort u do to help people w/ any issues they're having. you were right- it was a registry problem.... CONT ABOVE IN NEXT POST ^
Thanks for the help, but I retreived it last night. Just by goofing around with it somemore. Somehow I was able to just nip it to be able to pull it back into veiw. I'm a genious.lol THANKS vista
kinseth2, you can reset the widget windows positions by holding Ctrl+Shift while you start the widget from the dock (or from the Recent Widgets submeniu). It should start the widget window centered on screen. Kepp the keys pressed until the widget appears on screen, don't just hold them while you click on dock.
This a Yahoo Widgets Engine feature, works with all widgets. (Note that the combination keys is for Windows, I'm not sure if is the same for Mac).
Ya, I'm an Idiot I just downloaded one photo and I goofed around with it, its now to far off of my screen to retrieve. I tried to delete and redownload, nothing. I don't know what to do , any help. I'd appreciate it, very much.
