MeganThis widget is beautiful and I would love to use it but have never been able to get it to work. Same as diego, it starts, tells me it wants to start in safe mode, I click yes and for each and every feed it says "error: could not load feed information". It doesn't matter what feed I add or remove, each gives me an error. I believe the problem to be with the widget because other rss readers I tried with yahoo widgets have all worked perfectly - they were just ugly. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks.

WidgetWorldGotta love the engine bugs that cause widget crashes with no warnings. Certain items in RSS feeds cause the Yahoo Widget Engine to crash immediately with no warning whatsoever and provide no way for the widget to handle it. So, we have tried to come up with a solution that puts NewsStand into "safe mode" where we manually do a lot of checks to fix the problem but, well, it doesn't always work.

diego diazI have been using this widgets for a couple of years and since this morning I'm getting this error message also commented by other people: NewsStand will start, but then it says that a feed will not load and then I am asked if I want to load Widget in safe mode. I click yes, but nothing happens.
I did uninstall and re-install everything but the error won't disappear.... Can't use it anymore and would really appreciate any help :)

March 07, 2009 · version 1.14Anyone knows where this widget stores the RSS feed history? i need to format it because there is this startup error that i get everytime it tries to load one of my RSS feed. I need to eliminate the feeds i added manualy in it's install directory or something because i can't load the widget. I tried to reinstall it but it remmembers the RSS feeds i added, so there must be a text file or some other type of file that this widget stores in the system that contains the user RSS feed information. Anyone?! i really like this widget...
