mini Weather

The first in a series of mini Widgets.
mini Weather is a smaller simplified version of The Weather Widget that ships with Konfabulator. It's a fraction of the size, and omits the forecast feature.
Duplicate the Widget and run it and the copies next to a normal Weather Widget to get local forecasts and a look at weather around the world.

JoanneI have tried this three or four times and it always give me an error when I tried to open weather.js file. I'll keep trying but I don't think I will will succeed. Thanks for the fix.

Please download and install 7-Zip
http://www.7-zip.org/download.html
- Once installed, right click on minWeather and select 7zip open archive
- open the weather.js file buried in the widget directory
- search for &link=xoap in that file
- change that from just &link=xoap to &link=xoap&prod=xoap
- save the file and update archive

Widget
JoanneHappy to hear that those of you with Mac's are finding success with the fix. Those of us with Windows based PC's are out of luck. I received another response from Yahoo; "They are sorry, but Yahoo! does not create these widgets and therefore they do not know enough about the widgets to provide the best support possible. They only provide the engine and some basic widgets, the rest is user creation. Please contact the author." I responded by telling them the author was MIA. Good luck everyone.

Fix worked on Mac
NigeThank you Richard and bill_b_b_b. I'm using a Mac and doing what Richard said...
- open the weather.js file buried in the widget directory
- search for &link=xoap in that file
- change that from just &link=xoap to &link=xoap&prod=xoap
and then following bill_b_b_b's instructions...
On the Mac right click on the Widget, click on show package contents
... I then edited the weather.js file with text edit and saved.
Mini weather is now working great (all 5 of them).
Good luck with a Windows fix for those using a PC.
