microPlayer is a compact and tiny audio player intended to keep the Widget small and save valuable desktop space. It can play a single audio file, a folder full of audio files, playlist files, or CD audio tracks.
You can play audio without Windows Media Player, iTunes, Winamp, or other audio players open. Uses COM (WMPlayer.OCX). Tested on Windows XP Pro / Windows Media Player 9..

Glad that it supports playback on 24-bit/48 Khz *.wav files. I have yet to try any playback on 24/88.2, 24/96, 24/176.4 or 24/192s... For that matter I haven't tried any of my 32-bit floating point files yet either.
The drop down GUI for selecting files or folders still needs some work (in my opinion). For instance, if I select a file with both a file set and correlating *.m3u playlists... It gets confused and doesn't load either.
I'd love to see in the next build would be *.Flac &a… More

lpseems to just work.. if I could add one thing I would probably make a play list show of the current loaded directory optional .. but dont get me wrong.. it works great.. with absolutely none of the bs
