In MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite, the widget (set to topmost) only magnifies document windows. When I click on the widget to move it, the toolbars and palettes are hidden. If I put it where I know the palette is, it doesn't magnify the palette -- it magnifies the desktop picture underneath.
What I really need is a way to enlarge the teeny-tiny print in the Adobe Creative Suite palettes!
I cannot get it to work on my ibook, and I tried Magnify for Macs, too. My computer says there is no default application specified to open the document.
It "works" with multiple monitors. It only magnifies things on the main screen. So, the workaround is to put whatever you want to enlarge on the main screen.

For those who would like to save a magnified image from the main screen... use the Grab application.
Magnify 1.0 seems to use a lot of CPU when open.

Interesting... I would like an easy to way to save the magnified images. Otherwise, good idea, nice execution.
