Light saber
A light saber Widget for Yahoo! Widget Engine, similar to the one for the Mac Dashboard widget runtime environment by Tom Clark (Thanks to Tom for the images). It includes customisable hilts and swords, and full sound effects.
Not available for Macs yet because of reports of it not working from the forums, and as I don't have a Mac, development is difficult.

GHOSTI agree peeled_paper, its actually simple - just add a trail effect like the mouse curser.
Effects can allso optionaly be changed to tourn trail, Fire trail, smoke & etc.
as for interaction with a target -
Combine Thomas's Light sabre with his Bouncy ball and you got yourself a game.

January 26, 2008 · version 1.0 LaurenSIts a really neat concept, but I agree with others that it does need a little more interaction. maybe it could actually slice through stuff. Just something to do with it. Swishing it around is ok, but to be able to actually do something with it would make it so incredibly awsome.
