Are you learning Japanese? Then this Widget is for you. The Jenerator displays one entry at a time from the EDICT dictionary, helping you to memorise all these Kanji step by step.
Included is a small selection of Jim Breen's EDICT file, suitable for beginners. You can use your own dictionary file as well, should work fine with Chinese, Korean or almost any other language. Instructions are included in the widget.

July 23, 2006 · version 1.1 MikaThis is absolutely amazing; exactly what I was looking for and yet better! I've been a student of Japanese throughout high school and for the past two years of college, and kanji has been my only problem. This is going to help me immensely ^^ And to think, I had been looking for something to study while school was out for summer. I'm going to rock my Kanji class next semester; thanks for making this!!

And yes, it's good to use for other languages as well. Here what I do with it: Download a dictionary file from http://www.dicts.info/uddl.php . Downloaded file is not edict and needs some modification. Below is a simple python script that I use. Since the dictionary might have several words for same entry, this script puts them in "[ ]" for edict file. Not a perfect solution but works for me... Feel free to modify as you want.
