Lets say I reinstall my OS & don't want to go through informer widget setup again. Mostly because I had a million & 1 , quick launches, short cuts and tools. Where is the informer prefetch or does anyone know what to do?

I loved Informer for a few weeks, but towards the end of my ISP download month, I noticed much higher than normal useage. So did my ISP, who shaped me back from ADSL2+ to dialup speed for the last 3 days -- I had exceeded my 15 Gb peak download limit (I usually use between 7 Gb and 9 Gb).

I ran a download meter which showed I was using between 630 and 850 Mb per day. I shut down apps with no change unti l shut down Informer -- the meter dropped from a constant 95-110 kbps to about 0.5 kbps.

Pe…rhaps there's a switch somewhere that I didn't see, Andy, but please make some tweaks in your next release. I'm sure that I'm not the only one on a budget :)

I absolutely love using this widget. Everything about it is great. However I have experienced the same problem that Philster was experiencing and it has to do with the coding in the javascript of Gmail. I was able to fix it so that it wouldn't open Gmail in the Standard page anymore. You have to edit one of the lines, just the last bit of it so it goes to http://mail.google.com/mail/ it is about 5 lines under where it says Gmail Checker. At least it has fixed it for me. Can't or don…9;t know how long it is fixed for. But it was working fine and then all of a sudden it started viewing email in Basic HTML and I wanted it to view the Standard way again. I wanted to bring this to the maker's attention though. More
