aren't there any search widgets that are actually "widgets"- i.e they search WITHIN the widget & even better- you can continue clicking the results & links WITHIN the widget without your browser ever opening? (in other words- you don't ever need your browser). Otherwise, what's the point of a search widget, when i can perform the search much faster from my toolbar- not to mention the fact that there's 50 other google search widgets that all do the same thing, look the s…ame...It's not like in the case of say, digital clocks, where having tons of them is great bc they all look different & have different functions & therefore give us the choice between a variety of looks for our desktop. These google search's (and/or yahoo searches, and/or MSN searches... or whatever) can only look, or be, so different.

Give people a reason to pick yours, other than to help you make money- which i seriously don't mind at all- i actually, in fact, support it- b More

"Piggybacking entry" is a problem.

The creators of these should not get any money because:
- no ingenious opus
- no fine arts
- no real benefit
- no added value

You are all right but it seems, that Yahoo agrees because the [Editor's note] is added by Yahoo admins and not by the autor of the widget....

Why shouldn't these guys get some extra money... I have no problem with it.
I think there are bigger problems out there...

I wonder if they are in direct violation of the upload license (supposing that Yahoo does NOT grant the permission)?
