Gmail Status
Gmail Status is a Konfabulator Widget that checks your unread Gmail messages. Clicking on the unread message count exposes a small message reader in which you can read one line summaries of your mail. Clicking on the envelope icon launches you to the Gmail website.

November 12, 2004 · version 1.0 jamieawesome widget! now if gmail will update the atom feed to include star / labels, it'd be perfect! quick question, through konfab's rss feed, it said gmail was updated, but doing a diff on my older version vs. the newer one, i don't see any differences. what was changed? btw, i also changed the widget a bit, to have a little bigger window and lay things out a little differently. if anyone (including author) would like to check it out, email me, jamie at jazzynotions dot com

November 12, 2004 · version 1.0 David EstesAwesome widget. The problem with using the Atom feed, however, is that it only shows the last 20 messages, so anything over that will only tell me that I have 20 unread messages. That isn't your fault, though, it's Gmail's.
Everyone who's asking for this to update every minute: Google could simply ban any program that polls the server at a constant rate, but they don't. Refreshing every one minute would be very abusive of their generosity. It's fairly easy to hack … More

November 08, 2004 · version 1.0 RickhI have to be running OS9 Classic to use this widget? Every time I launch it it launches Classic. then it gives me a pop up message to enter my username and password. In the username field there is a message that reads applescript error. Once it runs it is great. I would like to be able to check for mail by clicking something though. I love the way I can preview messages. Great widget... Running classic to start it and dealing with the error to launch it stinks though.
