DropMover

The DropMover Widget displays a keypad, which can be used to move or copy files and folders to specified folders, or to open applications, data files and web pages.
Each key of the keypad can have a destination folder, application file, data file or url associated with it. Files or folders dropped onto the key are moved or copied to the destination folder or passed to the associated application.

MerlinAndy: Your problem with accessing the help file is very puzzling. The help file is an Adobe Acrobat PDF file. Providing you have the Acrobat Reader installed correctly, there should not be a problem. You are the only person to have reported this issue. You could use the Errors preference pane to log errors to file to see if you get any messages. You could access the help file by unzipping a copy of the Widget.

Andy. . . and I've figured out most of what I needed. I got the Help.pdf file just the way you suggested, by looking for it in the Resources folder. As for why I couldn't access Help like everybody else, really, I think it's some of the security stuff I use.
Question: I'm thinking about adding a 3rd DropMover in a horizontal configuration. I'd like to use it with 20 or 22 buttons. But I've only been able to get the DM to display 16 buttons in either of the linear arrang… More

Key Configurations
MerlinAndy: As the Widget is currently written, to get more than 16 keys, you would have to use the Phone (20 key) , Macintosh (30 key) or Windows (38 key) Modes, and they are not in linear arrangements.

MerlinAt http://tinyurl.com/29fm3c there is a new version that allows up to 32 keys on the horizontal, function and vertical arrangements.

AmericaliI want to use one of the buttons to start windows live messenger. I tried associating the folder for mesenger but of course that just opened the folder. How do i make it run the messenger itself. I also plan to use it to open yahoo messenger. Help please.
