A cute and user-friendly front-end to monitor your cruise control status on CruiseControl or CruiseControl.Net. It monitors just one project but lets you customise the message you want spoken out or the audio file to play.
Appreciate the feedback Srushti. I'll go ahead and verify that I am running the latest version of CCNET.
and yeah, the force build feature works :)
Thanks again

Jasdeep,
As far as your suggestions are concerned:
1. I can't show a separate colour for building since the widget parses the cruise results page to do all its reporting and the page doesnt really tell you of 'in progress builds. I am considering checking how cctray manages and try and implement it that way.
2. Version 1.2 which I havent uploaded yet shows the last checkin comment and last person to check in on the mouseover and I think that would be more useful than last build time. Onc…e I get the time to finish up it will get uploaded.
As regards your problem setting up the widget, I really can't imagine how the foce build works while the reporting doesnt work. I assume the audio part of the reporting doesnt work either. The only possibility I can imagine is that your version of ccnet is really old and hence the url and page formatting is probably different. I tested it on a couple of different versions that were running in my office and had some trouble making it wMore

Great tool. I was successfully able to connect to CCNET installation on the network and even force a build with the mouse "right click" action.
The problem is that it does not change color, meaning its yellowish green (pale yellow) all the time. Couple of healthy suggestions:
1. The default color can be be blue (for e.g.) or something different than green (success)or yellow (building) or red (failed)
2. Mouse over can show the status of the build and maybe even the last successful/u…nsuccessful build date/time.
Please let me know if you know what the problem with the colors not changing might be.
