To all users that have complained that wallpaper changing is not working on Windows, I have made the necessary modifications and am pleased to announce that this is now 100% operational on Windows...

But that's only the beginning...

I've also added in Sounds. You can now not only change your wallpaper (which is, of course, optional) but you can also have sounds play whenever the conditions change. This has been tested on Windows but has yet to be verified on Mac.

I've changed the …temperature display to show the Time / Condition when you mouseover the temperature, and I've also added in the option of showing the Condition instead of temperature (i.e. show "Cloudy" instead of "62").

Awesome widget, I've been wanting to do the exact same thing for a while. You may have already fixed this in prep for a future release, but in the windowsChangeWallpaper function you are missing a semicolon (in this version it is line 238 of functions.js).

The wallpaper update function is not working for me. I've double-checked the helpers and they work just fine. There are no files being copied to my windows folder. I'm taking a closer look at the destDir variable and will be check…ing that function to ensure it's finding the windows folder. It could also be an issue of write access... I'll let you know if I have any other successes, but be sure and throw on that semicolon mentioned. More
